Whitchurch Preschool Daily Timetable

A daily routine gives children a sense of security which is why we ensure each day has a structured base from which spontaneous activities can grow.

During each week, we look at the choices children are making in their play, their interests and the manner in which they are playing. Key workers also speak to their key children about what they have chosen to do and about what they are interested in outside the setting. This information is then collected together for activities to be planned to provide group and individual learning opportunities for the children which will extend their interests and further enhance their learning and development. In addition, festivals, local and national events, seasonal changes and spontaneous interests are included in our provision.

We also welcome parents in to preschool to share a skill or interest with the children. This might be your job or a skill or interest you have. Children love to share their learning with their family and friends and will be delighted to see you.
